We will be offering a free bunting sewing experience in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice
"Care for a Cuppa" charity appeal at The Sussex Over 50's Lifestyle Show on stand
D49-50 at Eastbourne’s Winter Gardens on 30th and 31st May 2015.
“It would be wonderful to get people sewing for one of Eastbourne’s most compassionate charities and even better if we could create the longest possible bunting too!” says Tracey, founder of Owl and Sewing Cat.
Over the course of the weekend, visitors to the Owl and Sewing Cat stand may sew a flag that will be added to what will hopefully become a long and lasting string of bunting. All levels, skills and sewing abilities are welcome as Tracey and her team will be there to help and provide advice.
Furthermore, members from the Age Concern Eastbourne and St Wilfrid’s Hospice will be joining in the Buntingathon challenge to make the experience a truly memorable and special occasion for all involved.
Photos of the Buntingathon sewing extravaganza will be posted via Social Media on Facebook and Twitter @owlandsewingcat so that sewers may share the experience with their friends and family too.
